Celebrating our amazing young volunteers at the Impact Awards

The Impact Awards

On Tuesday, March 25th, 14 young Orchardville participants attended the prestigious Impact Awards at the Europa Hotel to receive well-earned certificates for their dedication to volunteering over the past year.

The Impact Awards celebrate young volunteers aged 10 to 25, recognising their commitment with awards for completing 10, 50, or 100 hours of service. This year, 12 of our participants achieved the 10-hour award, and two participants received the 50-hour award!

Volunteering Is For Everyone

The event was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the diversity of volunteers in Northern Ireland and from our project point of view help to reinforce that young people with disabilities can contribute meaningfully to their communities. It reinforced the message that volunteering is for everyone and that each act of service makes a real impact!

The evening was filled with music, delicious food, inspiring keynote speakers, and valuable networking opportunities. It left our participants feeling motivated, empowered, and excited to continue making a difference through volunteering in the year ahead!

Congratulations to all our participants! Your hard work and dedication are inspiring!
