Orchardville’s Christmas Shows Dazzle Audiences in Belfast, Bangor & Lisburn

Festive Season

This festive season, Orchardville was proud to awaken the magic of Christmas with three unforgettable performances in Belfast, Bangor, and Lisburn. Each event showcased the incredible talent of our participants and staff, which left our audiences suitably warmed-up for this special time of year!

Belfast: ‘Magical Musicals’

Tuesday evening in Belfast saw the spectacular performance of Magical Musicals at Lagan Village Community Centre. From heartwarming songs from our favourite Disney musicals,  to dancing and top-class acting, our participants delivered a showstopper that had the audience on their feet!

Special thanks to director Ciara from CMAC Productions for her guidance and to the staff at Lagan Village Community Centre for their continued support. The evening was a true celebration of talent and teamwork, kicking off the festive season in style.

Bangor: ‘Moving with the Times’

On December 12th, Bangor Elim Church hosted Moving with the Times, a nostalgic journey through decades of music, dance, and popular culture.

Dad and Alice led us through memories from the 1950s to today, with each decade bringing its own charm:

  • The 50s featured classic tunes performed by our wonderful live band.
  • The 60s celebrated the moon landing.
  • The 70s showcased iconic fashion.
  • The 80s brought lively music and dancing.
  • The 90s featured an unforgettable dance-off between the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys.
  • The 2000s dazzled with a Strictly Come Dancing performance.

The night finished up with a beautiful performance by our Makaton choir singing Merry Christmas Everyone. The audience was so impressed by the talent on stage!

Lisburn: ‘A Night of Music, Comedy & Dance’

St. Patrick’s Hall in Lisburn was filled with festive cheer as a full house, including the Lord Mayor, enjoyed a night of music, comedy, and dance. Highlights included choir performances, touching solos and duets, and stand-up comedy from our talented host Adam Smyth.

One standout performance was a group-acted poem that brought both laughter and applause from the audience. The evening was a huge success, and showcased the talent and dedication of all our participants.

A Celebration of Talent & Community

Our Christmas shows were not just performances; they were a celebration of diversity, community, and creativity! Thank you to all our participants, staff, supporters, and audiences who make these events possible.

Merry Christmas to all, and here’s to more exciting events in the New Year!
