SkillSET

SkillSET @ Orchardville provides employability support to people who have a learning disability, autism or other neurodiverse condition and are looking for a job.

If this sounds like you, we offer activities which help you get ready for the workplace, gain work experience and look for a job. Activities include:

• Employability training to help you make a great CV, and learn about job searching, interviews and communication skills;
• Vocational training in retail, catering, Barista and ICT delivered to small groups;
• Other training courses available include travel training, online safety and money management to improve independence;
• Work experience and volunteering opportunities with a wide range of employers;
• Support to progress into paid work including support all the way through the recruitment process and on the job training and mentoring; and
• There’s support every step of the way from our team of friendly, encouraging and experienced employment officers

*SkillSET is funded by the UK Government and supports economically inactive people who have a disability or health condition to find a job. Orchardville is delivering SkillSET in partnership with SESNI, a consortium of seven well established and experienced pan-disability organisations.
