Workable (NI)

The Workable NI service supports people who have a learning disability, autism or other neurodiverse conditions to sustain and progress within their job. This includes people starting a new job or anyone experiencing challenges at work that could be at risk of losing their job as a result of their disability. Workable NI can also support you if you wish to return to work after a period of absence or if you wish to pursue promotion or a change of role and need support to do so. Our specialist Employment Officers work alongside participants and their employers to create personalised development plans and provide regular mentoring and support sessions to succeed in the workplace. The team also provide disability awareness training and advice around reasonable adjustments to employers.

Eligibility — you can access the Workable NI programme if you’re working more than 10 hours per week for a single employer. Workable NI is available to you if you are aged 16 or over with a disability or other health conditions. If interested contact Suzanne Boyle by email at suzanne.boyle@orchardville.com, or by phone on 07864 614 582.

*Workable NI is funded by the Department for Communities and delivered by Orchardville in partnership with the SESNI consortium.
