Employment & Skills
Workable (NI)
In partnership with six other disability organisations, we support people already in employment who are at risk of losing their jobs. The service supports employees with a learning disability or autism working ten hours or more.
Workable (NI)
Workable NI supports employees who have a learning disability, autism or other neurodiverse condition to sustain and progress within their job. This includes employees starting a new job or experiencing challenges at work which put them at risk of losing their job.
Workable NI can also support you if you wish to return to work after a period of absence or if you wish to pursue promotion or a change of role and need support to do so. Our specialist Employment Officers work alongside participants and their employers to create personalised development plans and provide regular mentoring and support sessions to help you succeed in the workplace. The team also provide disability awareness training and advice around reasonable adjustments to employers.
Eligibility
You can access the Workable (NI) programme if you work more than 10 hours per week. Workable (NI) is available to you if you are aged 16 or over with a disability or other health condition, and are struggling to stay in work or make progress in work as a result of your disability or health condition.
We deliver Workable NI in partnership with six other disability organisations. Workable supports neurodivergent employees who work at least ten hours a week and are struggling in work or maybe even at risk of losing their job. Workable supports both the employee and the employer to put support, structure and training in place.
